Introduction

In the BS English (2023–2027) program at Women University, the subject Application of Information & Communication Technologies (ICTs) plays a crucial role in equipping students with essential digital literacy and technological skills. As the world rapidly shifts towards digital platforms, ICTs help students of English not only improve their academic performance but also enhance their future career prospects in teaching, writing, media, and research.


Course Objectives

The main aims of this course are to:

  • Familiarize students with basic ICT concepts and their applications.
  • Train them in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Introduce them to internet resources, digital libraries, and online research tools.
  • Enable effective use of ICT for academic writing, presentations, and communication.
